Event Registration Time: 11:30 am
Bag Drop: Drop bags at check-in at cart shed near front entrance. Bags will be tagged and loaded on to your respective sponsored cart.
Event Registration: After you have dropped your bags continue on to the clubhouse and register your team/players.
Welcome Bags: When you register your team will be handed one Bendigo Bank Welcome Bag.
Mrs Bean’s Coffee Van: Free iced or hot beverages for athletes only – 1 per person. Drinks and snacks will be on sale for partners and guests.
Pre-Game Sausage Sizzle
- All players may collect a sausage in bread at the golf shop – present your ticket.
- Guests: $2.50 each
Team Chipping & Putting Competition: Register your team at the GPAI Marquee. Used clubs and putters provided, so don’t take from your own club set.
Pre–Game Instructions: Darrell will address all competitors at the putting green on the rules of play.
Team Carts: After announcement by Darrell all players are to make their way to their team cart.
Get Ready: Once all players are in their carts drivers will be instructed to make their way to their allocated holes.
Team Score Cards: All team scorecards will be placed on the cart steering wheel.
Hole Allocation: Will be displayed on the team scorecard.
Shotgun Start: Once all teams have arrived at their allocated holes a siren will sound at 1 pm sharp – play begins.
Return to Club House: On completion of the 9 hole alternate shot event all players return to the clubhouse.
Return Carts: Please ensure that carts are returned to the cart shed — do not leave them outside the clubhouse!
Team Scorecards: All scorecards must be added up and signed by the team cart driver and immediately handed into the scorer. Please do this first before going to the bar or taking a seat.
Post Game Meal
- All teams will have post game meal tickets. No ticket no meal so please ensure they are kept in a secure place when they are allocated at registration.
- Guests: Order meal at registration table – $15 per meal.
Classic Presentation: Once all scorecards are received, meals ordered and picked up the 7th Annual GPAI Charity Golf Classic presentation will begin.
Cr. David Law Attending: Sunshine Coast Council, Cr. David Law (Division 10) will present the participants with their medals and awards.
